Hector and his crew recently renovated our driveway with new pavers. I have been a GC for almost 50 years and hired hundreds of subcontractors. Hector is in the top 1% of my career experiences. He was on time , on budget, cleaned the area daily and did very high quality work. The job was not easy - cutting around planters and landscape rocks, correcting improper surface drainage and adding a long path down a fairly steep slope. He couldn’t do enough for us to accommodate whatever came up. His crew made sure they didn’t cut electrical lines we had for sprinklers and a dog electric fence.He made zero errors which is unheard of.
You are not going to find a better group to do your outdoor yard hardscape. I would have him back any time. I wish other contractors could study Hector’s approach to “owning” the job -as the job turned out perfectly with a high level of professional sophistication and courtesy.

If I could give Hector and Cal-Neva Construction 15 stars, I would. We purchased a new construction home on 1/3 of an acre and couldn't have imagined a better turn out. Hector is amazing with communication, which is so vital when spending quite a bit of money. We had ideas as to what we wanted and not only did Hector perfect the ideas, he made them a reality. They are prompt, professional, extremely friendly and they always cleaned up after themselves (and others). Hector is extremely knowledgeable about things we hadn't even considered, and we felt extremely comfortable and confident with his/our decisions, and never once did we feel as though we were being upsold. Our concrete is beautiful, our sod is healthy and looking absolutely gorgeous... worth every single penny! Luckily, we still have some work and landscaping left to do, and we can't wait to have Hector and his team back out, because they're amazing at what they do, and just extremely enjoyable to have around. My wife and I cannot say enough great things about Hector and Cal Neva Construction. We purchased a newly built home that had nothing but dirt in the backyard. Hector was already working 3 doors down from us and came over to give us a quote. Immediately upon meeting Hector, my wife and I knew we would be choosing his company. He is incredibly personable, hardworking, happy, and his quote was well under the other companies we asked for quotes. The next day, Hector was already hard at work in our backyard. Hector and his crew poured concrete, a reinforced hot tub pad, leveled everything, new drainage, new irrigation lines, concrete curbing, double mix, and sod. He threw in several extras/upgrades for free and worked on our backyard every day from sun up to sun down. This all took only a week and a half, and we couldn't be happier with the results.
